Where can I find my class schedule?

All certification programs: Your schedule is provided in the elearning system in your Resources folder.


What are the system requirements for accessing live streamed classes?

Our live streamed classes are supported by Zoom. All computer and mobile devices, as well as all browsers are supported. You can set up your own free Zoom account at: www.zoom.us.

How to join classes: You will find the link to join your classes in your elearning folder for that class. You will need to register ahead of time for the class. TalentLMS has the ability for you to register for classes and add them to your calendar. Please check your Resources folder for information or contact Student Support if you have any questions. You will be required to download the Zoom launcher or Zoom app on your mobile device.


Can I try out the live streaming technology prior to class?

How do I join my live streamed class?

You will find the link to join your classes in your elearning folder for that class. You will need to register ahead of time for the class. TalentLMS has the ability for you to register for the classes and add them to your calendar. Please check your Resources folder for information or contact Student Support if you have any questions. After clicking this link, you will be prompted to enter your name. Please use your full first and last name so the class coordinator can easily monitor attendance.


I'm having technical difficulty accessing my live streamed class. Who can assist me?

Please plan to sign onto the class 10 minutes prior to the start so that all technical issues can be taken care of and class can begin on time. You may contact your class moderator at moderator@keralaayurveda.us.

What if I miss a class - what is your makeup policy?

General Policy: Attendance is monitored via attendance taken in-class and during live streamed sessions. Each Training Program has a unique Attendance Policy. Please consult the most recent course catalog for details. If a student is absent from an in person or live streamed session, they may make it up at any KAA training location or via live streamed session, free of charge. If a student wishes to retake an in-class session, a make-up fee may apply. To make arrangements for all make-up or retake sessions, please contact Student Support at support@keralaayurveda.us.


Are there tests?

Please try not to feel anxious about the tests. The testing is conducted online in our elearning system at the student's pace. There are (3) attempts available for taking the test. The tests provide the students and the academy an opportunity to verify learning benchmarks are achieved for successful course progress.


Are there books for the class and what do they cost?

Digital copies of our course manuals are included in tuition for all programs. Print manuals are available at an additional cost. See Individual Program Tuition and Fees in the course catalog for more information.


What educational support and student services are provided?

Student mentoring is supported throughout the entire term of the program. On occasion, KAA posts job openings as they become available on group emails to students and alumni. KAA will do its best to help graduates to get into practice or a related career but there are no specific student services for career planning or job placement.


Is there an alumni association? Can I contact previous students?

Our Alumni Database provides a search-near-me function to assist our community's networking and promote alumni businesses to the public.

Is there an Ayurvedic association which links other practitioners and students together?

Yes, there is the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Many states have their own state associations such as the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (CAAM).
